Three vintage character advertising figurines from the 1950’s-70’s that were the mascots of: Dutch Boy Paints, Pioneer Pipe Line Co., and Powell Valves. The 1950’s-60’s era Dutch Boy is cast in metal with a bronze finish and excellent detail, depicting him sitting on a stool with a paint brush raised in his right hand. The base is embossed “THE DUTCH BOY PAINTER”. It measures 4″ tall by 2.25″ wide by 2″ deep. The bronzed metal figurine of “The Pioneer Woman” was made as an advertising promo for the Pioneer Pipe Line Co. in the 1960’s. It depicts the 19th century western Pioneer Woman leaning forward in long dress and bonnet. The front of the base is embossed “THE PIONEER WOMAN” and the back “PIONEER PIPE LINE CO.” The bottom is covered in green felt. It stands 5.5″ tall on a 3″ square metal base, and weighs almost 1 lb. The blue rubbery Powell Valves mascot of the three cavemen was made in the 1970’s. The base reads “POWELL VALVES” and the back “© 1973 The Wm. Powell Company”.
