The piece came from Ecuador maybe around 2010. It’ handmade by artisans that make a living doing this by the beach. I’m not sure if it’s used as a place to burn incense. I never tried it. The details are very nice. It’s a very nice piece of work made by the artists in Salinas Ecuador.
