This auction is for a Danbury Mint 1970 OLDSMOBILE 442 CONVERTIBLE INDY 500 PACE CAR in 1:24 scale. This is an EXTREMELY RARE model, and is very difficult to find! And while it is possible that this one has been displayed, it is certainly difficult to tell from the IMPECCABLE condition this one is in! It is That nice! It is in outstanding condition, and looks exceptional! The White paint is very bright and glossy, and is in spectacular condition! It is virtually flawless, and the paint really looks superb! The bright color looks just phenomenal on this car, and the Indy Pace Car graphics are all expertly applied, and look phenomenal! They are all clean and crisp, and appear pristine! The car will display wonderfully! It looks fantastic! The chrome shines, and is in excellent condition! The gorgeous contrasting medium black interior looks brand new, and is likewise in sensational condition! The windows are clean and clear. The car is intact in every way, and all parts are present and functional. All emblems and chrome foil scripts and lettering are intact, look exquisite, and are in like new condition! The wheels turn, and pivot with the steering wheel. There is the option to display this model with the white soft top roof, or with the contrasting black convertible boot, both of which look outstanding. It looks terrific either way, and both are included, and are stored within the original clear protective packaging for safe shipping. This also includes the two removable yellow flags, which insert into metal bracket tubes on the rear bumper. They are stored within the trunk for safe shipping.
