Unit has been inspected and the results are as follows. Intended for
Reuse or Repair/Refurbishment, not for Recycling or Disposal ” Buchi Rotavapor R-205 Laboratory Rotary Evaporator System Power Tested .” The item is in E) Used, Poor cosmetic condition. For cosmetic condition, please refer to the Product Grading System – Below. Moderate scuffs and scratches from normal use. The paint is chipping away in several places. (See Photos 4-5, 10-11) There is a crack in the casing on the back of the device near the fan. (See Photos 13 and 17) The outer cover for the fan is cracked. (See Photos 13 and 17) The bath, evaporating flask, and steam tube are missing. There is some corrosion on the port on the back of the device. (See Photo 15) There are stains on the casing. (See Photos 4, 6-7) There is some rust in the combi-clip. (See Photos 9 and 12) I was able to power on the device. The display is in good condition. I was able to turn on the rotation and adjust the speed using the knob on the top front of the device. (See Video) No further testing could be completed due to lack of knowledge and/or resources. The device is being sold for repair, refurbishment or reuse by the buyer. It is not intended for recycling or disposal. No accessories included.
